Dr SinMun Chang
Background
SinMun is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS). He leads the Business School's Executive Learning Solutions and oversees a portfolio of open CPD and public-funded courses. In addition to his role on executive learning, he serves as the Module Leader for Postgraduate Work Placement and Internship. Before joining Brunel, SinMun worked as a psychometrician with a test publisher in London, where he leads an international team of analysts to deliver assessment projects. He continues to consult for assessment providers in Southeast Asia, where he ensures that assessment tools meet rigorous standards of reliability, validity, and cultural relevance. He has contributed to numerous talent assessment projects, leveraging AI to enhance assessment accuracy, streamline validation processes, and improve scalability for test publishers.
Research Interests
I explore data-driven workforce intelligence in recruitment, leadership, and organisational development. I am especially keen on research that bridges the academic-industry gap, investigating how evidence-based insights can be translated into better organisational policy and practice.
